The Power of the Resurrection

THAT... you might know with the same light flooding your soul ● what is the exceeding greatness of His enabling power unto us, the believing ones, according to the energetic force of the dominion of His strength, which He put forth as a force of divine energy in the Christ when He raised Him out of death’s domain and seated Him at His Own right hand in the heavenlies, far above all principality and authority and power and lordship, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the coming (age). Ephesians 1:19,20

Dear Lord,

Open our eyes so we can know how great is
Your dynamic power unto us who believe.

Do this according to the motivating power
resident in the power of Your Government.

Release in us the strengt of You muscle power
as all this worked in releasing Jesus from the power of death.

Open our eyes and our hearts to rembrace Your Glory,
and to know the power of Your beloved Son’s Resurrection.

I ask that it work in these I hold before You,
to release them from the strongholds of sin,
sickness, satanic deception and emotional bondage.

In the wonderful Name of Jesus,
our Lord and Savior

Learning to pray what Paul prayed takes us to the keys that unlock the wealth of the power that worked in Christ’s Resurrection. It is given to us-ward who believe to know this power. Knowing the power of Christ’s Resurrection means sharing with Him in the life of His eternal Kingdom.

Perhaps the ability to believe this is the greatest gift given us by God. It will unlock for us all else that can be ours in Christ. Let us cherish it. Let us not allow one stroke from the enemy to ever knock believing Him from our lives. It is a gift from the Holy Spirit, ready for any who know they stand in need of it and who will receive it.

Death held power within itself but is not strong enough to withstand the power that came against it when it was time for Jesus to come forth alive from the tomb. The Word that came through David, the fullness of time, and the power from out of God’s Kingdom all worked together to break Death’s power.

The Dynamics of Christ’s Resurrection

There is one brief passage in Paul’s Epistle to the Ephesians where we may count at least sixteen distinct words in the Greek New Testament that define power in one form or another. All of them revolve around what happened when God raised the Lord Jesus from the dead. They all relate in one way or another to who we are in Him and Who He is in us. They relate to our healing—our spiritual healing, our physical healing, our emotional healing, and our mental healing.
